 Community Partners

The PARC Foundation acts as a catalyst to accomplish

short- and long-range projects that benefit the community

in collaboration with other community groups.

Douglas Family Preserve:
The local community raised funds to purchase this undeveloped, blufftop 71-acre property above Arroyo Burro Beach and donated it to the City of Santa Barbara in 1997. PARC manages the Preserve’s maintenance endowment and has raised money for this popular open space park. Friends of the Douglas Family Preserve have had a representative serving on the PARC Board of Directors.
