Brass at the Band Shell

Enjoy a festive afternoon of music, family activities, and community during Brass at the Band Shell: All-American Fanfare. This free outdoor concert celebrates America’s 250th Anniversary with dynamic performances by the Music Academy brass fellows. 

The afternoon includes family-friendly activities beginning at 12 p.m., including food trucks, games, and an instrument exploration station presented in partnership with the Santa Barbara Symphony Music Van. The 1 p.m. performance features an exciting program with an array of works anchored by American composers.

The Plaza del Mar Band Shell will come alive this summer season with free arts and cultural performances. The Parks and Recreation Community Foundation (PARC), in partnership with the City of Santa Barbara Parks and Recreation Department, will host a series of public performances to enrich our community’s arts and cultural landscape.
